WASHINGTON – During National Police Week, Congressman Jim Costa (CA-21) is pushing a bipartisan bill to support local law enforcement by backing the Invest to Protect Act, legislation that would deliver critical resources to small and midsize police departments across the country.

This legislation will ensure adequate data collection to address the rise in anti-police attacks, protect law enforcement in the line of duty, and support the mental health of police officers.
