"TheIndian Housing Block Grant will provide considerable funds to help provideaffordable housing and services to the Santa Rosa Rancheria," Congressman Costasaid.

Grants are available to local fire departments to recruit, hire andretain qualified volunteer and career firefighters.

National Health Services, Inc. in Shafter and Clinica Sierra Vista, Inc.in Bakersfieldhave been awarded funds to expand medical capacity and provide oral healthaccess.
"Theavailability of proper health care to all citizens is important and these fundswill help to provide essential health related services," Congressman Costasaid.
