If signed into law, the legislation would raise sequester level caps by $80 billion over the next two years and is fully offset. Additionally, sequester caps for defense and non-defense discretionary spending will both be raised by $25 billion in Fiscal Year 2016 and $15 billion in Fiscal Year 2017.
