Jim Costa (CA-16) released the following statement to announce that the Merced County Registrar of Voters' Office is designated as an official passport acceptance facility and will accept passport applications on behalf of the United States Department of State. Rep. Costa was instrumental in coordinating with the State Department's U.S. Passports and International Travel San Francisco Passport Agency to ensure that residents in Merced have access to passport services.
