Rep. Jim Costa Announces Natalie Caples as Guest for 2024 State of the Union Address
WASHINGTON - Congressman Jim Costa (CA-21) announced that Natalie Caples, co-CEO of Central California Food Bank will be his guest for the 2024 State of the Union Address.
A graduate of San Jose State University with a passion for helping others, Natalie has been serving at Central California Food Bank (CCFB) since 2008. At the height of the pandemic, Natalie along with her team at CCFB, stepped up to provide immediate hunger relief to over 350,000 families including nearly 120,000 children each and every month experiencing food insecurity. As a member of Feeding America, she advocates on behalf of families who need to get the food and resources they need to thrive.
Following the State of the Union Address, Congressman Costa and Caples will be holding a virtual press conference to spotlight President Biden’s speech, hunger issues, and getting a Farm Bill done.
