Costa Statement on Baseless Republican Impeachment Inquiry

WASHINGTON – Congressman Jim Costa (CA-21) released the following statement after House Republicans passed a resolution to authorize a baseless impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. 

“House Republicans have spent nearly a year collecting evidence that shows no wrongdoing by President Biden or his family. Instead of focusing on the urgent needs of Americans or getting a budget done, Republicans are wasting time on a baseless impeachment inquiry that does nothing to benefit the American people. The House needs to get to work on the issues at hand – there is too much at stake.” said Congressman Costa.
