(WASHINGTON) Congressman Jim Costa (CA-16) released the following statement after the House passed H.R. 2420, the National Museum of the American Latino, to authorize the creation of a new museum on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.:
“I’m proud to join my colleagues and vote to establish a new national museum to commemorate Latino American history in the U.S.,” said Costa. “The Latino community has had rich cultural impact on the Valley and the country. It’s important to tell their story.”
