Costa Statement on Osama bin Laden

Washington, DC – Congressman Jim Costa (D-CA) released the following statement regarding the announcement yesterday by President Obama that Osama bin Laden has been brought to justice:

"Almost ten years after the United States was brutally attacked by al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden is finally dead. I am grateful to the brave men and women of the United States military and intelligence communities who carried out this dangerous operation, and I salute the determined efforts of President Bush and President Obama to right this grievous wrong. After yesterday's events, let there be no doubt of America's resolve to bring to justice those who seek to do us harm."
