Washington, D.C. - Congressman Jim Costa released the following statement on H.Con.Res. 24, calling on the House to make the Mueller report available to the public and to Congress once released. The resolution was passed by a vote of 420-0.

"The overwhelming bi-partisan vote today in Congress on the Mueller Report is good news. I voted for it because the American people need to know under full transparency what the Russians did to interfere in our elections process. Our 2016 election was not an aberration. The Russians have been disrupting and interfering in Europe for years to destabilize western democracies. With strong certainty, because of intelligence reports, I believe they're continuing this effort with European parliamentary elections in May. In addition, I think this will continue in our elections next year unless we provide the means to prevent this from happening. For these reasons, and many more, the Mueller report must be made public."
