WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Jim Costa, D-Fresno and a bipartisan group of Hispanic Members, including Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and Congressional Hispanic Conference, met with President Bush earlier today at the White House to discuss national immigration reform legislation. The Congressman and others discussed provisions of interest to San Joaquin Valley agriculture and the business community, including foreign workers, amnesty, and border security.
