2021 Presidential Inauguration Information
The 59th Presidential Inauguration Swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Capitol on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 and hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC).
In light of the public health crisis presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, President-elect Joe Biden has asked that we celebrate this historic event from the safety of our homes. After consulting with public health officials, the JCCIC has decided not to hold the traditional mass gathering on the National Mall and to limit attendance.
Unfortunately, Congressional offices will not receive tickets to distribute to our constituents for the swearing in of President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris. Instead, the JCCIC will make the event accessible to the American people through enhanced virtual opportunities.

Following the ceremonies, commemorative ticket bundles and program packets will be made available through our office for constituents. This page will be updated with more information as it becomes available.
